"David's music will touch you to the very depths of your soul. He'll make you laugh and cry, inspire you to rise and fly." - Jack Canfield, co-author Chicken Soup for the Soul

A longtime favorite of IMT audiences, David Roth has gained national attention for his unique songs, moving stories, and powerful singing and subject matter. Since emerging from a nationwide field of several hundred songwriters to open the 1987 Kerrville (TX) Folk Festival as its New Folk winner, the Chicago native (and two-time national anthem singer for the NBA's Michael Jordan-era Bulls) has garnered accolades for his performances, workshops, writing, and recordings. Noel Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul & Mary) has recorded David's "If You Can't Fly" for his latest children's album, and Bose Corporation's recent "best of new folk" compilations include two of his songs.

Lui Collins established herself as a powerful presence in the folk community in the late 70s and early 80s. Her newest recording, "Leaving Fort Knox," confirms her place as a compelling writer, singer and instrumentalist. Join us and see why the Boston Globe calls heer "one of New England's first and brightest stars."
