Old Blind Dogs have stood at the leading edge of the roots revival that
has both reawakened and revolutionized Scottish folk music. Combining
a deep appreciation of ancient traditions with a highly contemporary,
dynamically cosmopolitan musical approach, their uniquely distinctive
arrangements of ballads, airs, and dance tunes put the sounds of their
homeland firmly on the world music map. The band has several highly
acclaimed recordings on the Scottish record label, KRL. Since 1999,
the band has a new and evolved line-up featuring Jonny Hardie, Buzzby
McMillan, Jim Malcolm, Rory Campbell, and Paul Jennings. Come hear one
of Scotland's favorite folk bands for a rare IMT Sunday evening concert.
