"A comparison to Steve Goodman is natural, given the high energy level of this Southern-accented, witty, folk-blues performance..."

-Variety

With thirteen albums to his name over more than 20 years, Mike Cross has been delighting audiences with his 12-string bottleneck blues, fiery Irish fiddle jigs and a wealth of his own music and stories filled with backwoods humor characteristic of Mark Twain or Will Rogers. Cross grew up in the Appalachian Mountains steeped in the region’s traditions, but was obsessed with golf until he went off to college on a golf scholarship and discovered music by accident. Whether he is appearing at Symphony Hall in Boston or at the nation’s top outdoor music festivals, people across the country look forward to seeing their favorite fiddling storyteller and sharing the fun with friends. This will be Mike’s debut on the IMT stage after decades of entertaining fans across the nation.
