Billboard has said that Lisa Moscatiello possesses a voice of knee-buckling
poignancy and believability. Multi WAMMIE award winner, Lisa toured
for six years internationally with the New York-City based Celtic-fusion
band Whirligig and is the former lead singer for The New St. George.
Rosie Shipley, a native of Baltimore, learned her first Irish tunes
at the age of eight from master fiddler Brendan Mulvihill. When not
playing with Moscatiello, she tours internationally in The Willow Band
(with E.J. Jones and Gerry O'Beirne) and has appeared as guest fiddler
with the Irish band Cherish the Ladies. Their brand new CD Well-Kept
Secrets is a collection of high- energy fiddle tunes and soulful
ballads, both traditional and contemporary, from Ireland, Scotland and
North America.
