Instrument Building Workshop with Wayne Henderson
Sunday, October 6, 3:30 5:00 PM
Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring
$15 (both workshops $35)
Wayne will share stories from his 38-year career as a luthier and discuss
the process of building guitars, mandolins, and an occasional fiddle,
banjo, or Dobro. He will bring along completed instruments as well as
instruments he is currently working on. Waynes knowledge of acoustic
instrument construction and repair is unsurpassed, and this is a rare
chance to listen to a master luthier discuss his craft. Come see why
the waiting list for a Henderson instrument is four years or more. This
workshop is essential for anyone with a passion for acoustic instruments.
