"The violin line should dispel any worry by rock fans about Groovelily being "classical," and the almost-folk sound should attract country fans interested in something new and different."

~Washington Times

"...helium-powered pop-rock with enough ingenuity to take thrilling flight..."
~Boston Herald

Imagine a drag race: in one car, Madonna, Dennis Miller, Sting and Randy Newman. In the other, JimiHendrix, Bruce Hornsby and Steely Dan. GrooveLily is the music playing on both radios: smart pop with electric violin, keyboards and drums. Founder, violinist and vocalist Valerie Vigoda has toured the world with Cyndi Lauper, Cher, Tina Turner and Joe Jackson and has a background in classical music. San Francisco native Brendan Milburn, keyboards and vocals, has played with Ben Harper and Clarence Clemons. Gene Lewin’s eclectic, joyful drumming has been compared to that of the Dave Matthews Band; he hails from New Jersey. Join us as we celebrate the return of this perennial favorite and their new live CD, "Just the Three of Us."
