Five time Grammy nominees Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer celebrate the
release of "Postcards," their 21st CD, yet their first folk
recording in more than five years. They perform with razor sharp vocal
harmony and instrumental virtuosity (banjo, mandolin, electric &
acoustic guitar, bouzouki, pennywhistle) while covering a wide range
of musical styles including contemporary and traditional folk, swing,
new and old-time country. From the Woody Guthrie/Billy Bragg song "Birds
and Ships" to the classic Boswell Sisters’ "It’s
the Girl" to Ola Belle Reed’s "Hopelessly in Love,"
the music is rooted in Cathy & Marcy’s twenty-plus years of
performing together around the world. Don’t just take our word
