Pat Wictor and Joe Jencks

With flowing red hair and zen-like calm, Pat Wictor brings a hush over an audience, weaving several parts on his guitar and reaching into each listener's heart. Steeped in American "roots" music, Wictor is a contemporary songwriter and interpreter drawing on rural country, gospel, and blues traditions. His fifth CD, Heaven Is So High...And I'm So Far Down, was released in July '06.

Joe Jencks is an international touring performer and award-winning songwriter. His career is based as much in ministering to the human spirit as it is in the performance of music. Jencks applies the skills of his well-rounded training, using his lush and lyrical voice to enchant, heal, and inspire to action. He has won numerous songwriting awards for his original work, and has an ability to connect genuinely and intimately with audiences of diverse ages and backgrounds. Jencks’ newest CD Rise As One: A Live Solidarity Concert (2005) is a musical retrospective on the labor movement.
