Old Blind Dogs is on the cutting edge of Scotland’s roots revival. Dynamic percussion blends with border pipes and whistle and a fine blend of guitar, cittern, mandolin, and fiddle. Pair that with rich vocals and a wonderful feel for the traditional, with a new and exciting fusion of the present and the past, and you can understand why the many tours in the US have cemented them a huge loyal following.

OBD is: founding member Jonny Hardie from Aberdeenshire - fiddle, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, backing vocals; Rory Campbell, born on the island of Barra, a brilliant young piper, playing the border pipes as well as low whistle; lead vocalist and innovative multi-instrumentalist on bouzouki, guitar and bass, newest member (born in Poole, England into a musical family from Northern Ireland) Aaron Jones; and drummer Fraser Stone, a Highlander, a specialist on African percussion.
