Their popularity at the Glen Echo Spanish Ballroom comes from their
high energy dance music. Known for their rhythmic intensity and
virtuoso performances in an astounding variety of you wanna dance? Care

and squares all the way to Viennese waltzes and vintage dance music,
they also shine in a concert setting. So the evening will be half

caller, Laura Brown, exudes enthusiasm and is one of the most sought
after callers in DC. The band includes Alexander Mitchell on fiddle and
mandolin, multi-instrumentalist Paul Oorts of Cabaret Sauvignon, Ralph
Gordon, every band’s first choice for bass player, and Dave Wiesler -
the finest contra dance keyboardist in the DC area. And don’t forget to
