Mandolin icon Jimmy Gaudreau and famous flatpicker/funnyman Orrin Star
have joined forces in an exciting new duo. A household name in bluegrass,
Jimmy has performed with a veritable Who's Who of the genre including
Tony Rice, J.D. Crowe, Chesapeake and the Country Gentlemen. Orrin Star
is a former National Flat-picking Champion and Prairie Home Companion
alum who was once described as 'Arlo Guthrie-meets-Doc Watson.' Together
their shows feature great picking, sweet singing, dry humor, and a repertoire
that ranges from bluegrass standards to original instrumentals, little-known
folk gems to choice mandolin duets. All with the full yet intimate sound
that the duo format in the right hands can provide.
