Takoma Park’s own record label Azalea City Recordings is proud to announce the debut CD Release of Azalea Sampler No. 1. This 20-track CD sampler features 11 artists currently members of the Takoma Park based record label musician cooperative. The CD is a strong, eclectic mix spanning country to Cajun, folk to funk, ballads to blues and traditional to Scandinavian instrumentals.

Five Azalea City artists will be launching the CD Release concert at the Institute of Musical Traditions: Rachel Cross, Andrea Hoag, Zoe Mulford, Jesse Palidofsky and Mary Sue Twohy. Expect an evening of folk, blues, fiddle instrumentals and world beat songs. Come join us!
